Piston Rings: Removal

- Remove piston and connecting rod. (Refer to REMOVAL ).
- Remove No. 1 and No. 2 piston rings from piston using a ring expander tool (Figure).
- Remove upper oil ring side rail (Figure).
- Remove lower oil ring side rail (Figure).
- Remove oil ring expander (Figure).
