Vibration Damper: Installation

  1. Install crankshaft damper using Special Tools C-4685-C1 (5.9 in.) Bolt, with Nut and Thrust Bearing from 6792, and 6792-1 Installer (Fig 1). Install center bolt and tighten to 115 N.m (85 ft. lbs.) (Figure).

  2. Install accessory drive belts. (Refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE ).
  3. Install radiator fan. (Refer to RADIATOR FAN ).
  4. Install upper radiator crossmember.
  5. Connect negative cable.
