Water Pump - 2.7L: Installation

- Clean all sealing surfaces.
- Install water pump and gasket. Tighten mounting bolts to 12 N.m (105 in.lbs.).
- Install timing chain guides and timing chain (Refer to TIMING BELT/CHAIN AND SPROCKETS ).
- Install the timing chain cover (Refer to TIMING CHAIN COVER ).
- Install the crankshaft damper (Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER ).
- Install the accessory drive belts. (Refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE )
- Install the radiator fan (Refer to 7 - COOLING/ENGINE/RADIATOR FAN - INSTALLATION ) and
- Install the radiator upper crossmember (Refer to GRILLE OPENING REINFORCEMENTGRILLE OPENING REINFORCEMENT ).
- Fill cooling system. (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE )
