Sun Sensor: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Open the hood and disconnect the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post. Remove the instrument panel top cover. See ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS - CONCORDE, INTREPID & 300M article.
  2. Remove the two Sun Sensor mounting screws. Lift the sensor out of the instrument panel and disconnect the wiring. Remove the sensor from the vehicle.
