Compass Calibration Procedure

Compass variance is the difference between magnetic north and geographic north. To adjust compass variance, set Compass/Mini-Trip Computer (CMTC) to COMPASS/TEMPERATURE mode and press RESET button for 5 seconds. VAR symbol and current variance zone number should be displayed. Press STEP button to select proper variance zone for your location. See Fig 1 . Press US/METRIC button to save new variance zone selection and resume normal CMTC operation.
