Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2000 Plymouth Voyager, 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager, 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan, 2000 Dodge Caravan, and 2000 Chrysler Voyager. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Body Control Module (BCM) is located with junction block under driver's side instrument panel. Remove left underdash cover and knee bolster reinforcement. Disconnect harness connectors from bottom of Body Control Module (BCM). See Fig 1 .
  2. Remove bolts holding junction block to dash panel mounting bracket. Remove junction block from mounting bracket. Remove screws holding BCM to junction block. Slide BCM downward to disengage guide studs. Remove BCM from junction block. To install, reverse removal procedure.
