Throttle Position Sensor

Throttle Position (TP) sensor uses a 5-volt input voltage supplied by PCM. A shared TP sensor return wire is connected to TCM and PCM. TCM uses TP sensor reference signal to determine throttle position for controlling shift points, shift quality and torque converter clutch operation for lock-up.
