Park/Neutral Position Switch (A/T)

NOTE: Park/Neutral switch may also be referred to as Transmission Range Sensor (TRS).

Individual component testing is not available from manufacturer. If a switch or wiring circuit failure exists, a DTC may be stored in the powertrain control module. See DTC P1899: P/N SWITCH STUCK IN PARK OR IN GEAR (4SP AUTO TRANS) under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - PT CRUISER article.
