Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air cleaner box. Disconnect PCM connectors. See Figure . Remove screws attaching bracket to frame rail. Remove PCM from vehicle and bracket from PCM. Remove screws attaching PCM to bracket. To install, reverse removal procedure. After PCM is replaced, VIN and mileage must be programmed into new PCM. See POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE  under PROGRAMMING.
