Power Transfer Unit (AWD Models)
Park vehicle on level surface. Remove inspection plug from power transfer unit. See Fig 1 . Fluid level should be even with bottom of inspection hole. Add appropriate type of fluid if necessary. See RECOMMENDED FLUIDS . DO NOT overfill power transfer unit. Install and tighten inspection plug to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
