Liftgate Outside Handle: Removal
- Remove liftgate trim (Fig 1
).

- Disconnect latch linkage and electrical connectors from liftgate control assembly (Fig 2
).

- Remove liftgate control assembly from liftgate.
- Remove fasteners attaching liftgate outside handle.
- Using a heat gun, apply heat to the wings to loosen the double sided tape for removal of the handle.
- Clean surface of any residual tape.
