Power Latch: Removal
- Open the liftgate.
- Open the hood, disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to LIFTGATE
.
- Disconnect the power latch electrical connector.
- Remove the power latch retaining bolts (Figure) and remove the latch assembly from the liftgate.
