Door System - Front: Latch: Removal
- Remove door trim panel and watershield. (Refer to REMOVAL ) and (Refer to REMOVAL ).
- Raise door glass.
- Disconnect clips holding key cylinder and latch rods to outside door handle (Figure ).
- Disengage wire connector from power door lock motor and push pin from latch.
- Disengage push pin fasteners attaching key position switch wire to the latch, if equipped.
- Remove screws attaching latch to door inner panel.
- Remove door latch from door, using care not to damage cables or rods.
