Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION System: Valve: Installation
- Install the 2 mounting bolts into the EGR valve and gasket (Figure ).
- Loose install the EGR valve to cylinder head.
- Loose install the EGR tube to EGR valve (Figure ).
- Tighten bolts for EGR valve then the EGR tube.
- Connect and lock the electrical connector for the EGR valve (Figure ).
- Install the battery.
- Connect the positive then the negative battery cable.
