Battery HOLDDOWN: Installation

Clean and inspect the battery holddown bracket (5) and bolt (6) (Refer to ELECTRICAL/BATTERY SYSTEM - CLEANING) .
Position the battery hold down bracket in the battery tray.
CAUTION: Be certain that the holddown bracket is properly positioned in the battery tray before tightening the hold down bolt or damage to the battery and tray may result.
Install and tighten the battery holddown retaining bolt.
