ABS Lamp Circuit Short

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST under VERIFICATION TESTS.

NOTE: The Instrument Cluster performs internal tests on the ABS and Airbag indicator lamps during each ignition cycle. Instrument cluster LEDs are not replaceable.

Turn the ignition on. With the DRBIII®, record and erase DTC's. Turn the ignition off, wait 15 seconds, then turn the ignition on. With the DRBIII®, read DTCs. If the DTC reset, replace the instrument cluster. See ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS article. If the DTC did not reset, the test is complete.
