July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Engine Coolant Temp Sensor: Removal

WARNING: HOT, PRESSURIZED COOLANT CAN CAUSE INJURY BY SCALDING. COOLING SYSTEM MUST BE PARTIALLY DRAINED BEFORE REMOVING THE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR.
  1. Drain cooling system below engine coolant temperature sensor level (Refer to COOLING - STANDARD PROCEDURE) .
  2. Disconnect negative cable from remote jumper terminal. See Figure
  3. With the engine cold, disconnect coolant sensor electrical connector.
  4. Remove sensor.
