Starter Motor: Installation

- Raise and support vehicle.
- Position starter motor to transmission housing.
- Install 2 mounting bolts. Refer to TORQUE - STARTER - DIESEL Specifications.
- Lower vehicle.
- Connect battery cable and solenoid wiring to solenoid (2 nuts). Refer to TORQUE - STARTER - DIESEL Specifications.
- Position wiring harness trough and install retaining bolt.
- Install new nylon tie-wraps to wiring trough.
- Connect negative battery cable.
