Thermal Guard: Installation
NOTE:
When replacing battery, the thermal guard MUST be transferred to the new battery.
- Slip the battery thermal guard over the battery being careful not to tear it.
- Install the battery into the vehicle, (Refer to ELECTRICAL/BATTERY SYSTEM/BATTERY - INSTALLATION - GASOLINE ENGINE) .
- Install the air cleaner housing (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION) or (Refer to ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - INSTALLATION) .
- Close hood.
