Section 75 (Cruise Control Systems (Service Information)): Switch: Removal

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the steering wheel. (Refer to STEERING/COLUMN/STEERING WHEEL - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the clockspring. (Refer to ELECTRICAL/RESTRAINTS/CLOCKSPRING - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the lower instrument panel. (Refer to BODY/INSTRUMENT PANEL/INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY - REMOVAL) .
- Remove the screw (1) attaching the speed control switch to the multifunction switch.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors on the steering column.
- Disconnect the wiring from the column.
