Charging System: Generator: Removal: 2.5/2.8L

Disconnect the negative battery cable. See Fig 1.

Remove the engine cover. See Fig 2.

Raise vehicle and support.
Turn wheels to the right. Remove the right front splash shield. See Fig 3.

Remove the generator drive belt. See Fig 4.

Lower vehicle.
Disconnect the generator battery connection. See Fig 5.

Relocate the wiring harness on upper generator bracket. See Fig 6.
