Install the knock sensor. Tighten knock sensor bolt to 22 N.m (195 in. lbs.) torque. Over or under tightening effects knock sensor performance resulting in possible improper spark control .

Connect the electrical connector for the sensor. See Figure.
Connect the negative battery cable.
Install air cleaner assembly cover.
