The Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) (6) is attached to the accelerator pedal assembly (4) under the instrument panel.

The APPS is used only with the 5.7L V-8 engine.

The APPS is part of the pedal assembly and is a non-serviceable part and the pedal assembly has to be replaced.
