4211-Valve Control Relay Performance: Testing

- ABM INTERNAL FAILURE DTC PRESENT
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs.
- With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
- Turn the ignition off.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs.
Does the scan tool display 420F-VALVE CONTROL RELAY SUPPLY VOLTAGE PERFORMANCE?
Yes
- Replace the Anti-Lock Brake Module in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform ABS VERIFICATION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Antilock Brake (ABS) - Standard Procedure .
No
- Perform the ABS Intermittent Condition diagnostic procedure.
- Refer to the ABS-INTERMITTENT CONDITION TEST. See DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Antilock Brake (ABS) - Standard Procedure
