COIL, Ignition: Installation: 2.7L

  1. Align coil with top of spark plug.
  2. Twist coil assembly down on to spark plug and install mounting bolt.
  3. Tighten bolt to 7.5 N.m (65 in. lbs.).
  4. Connect electrical connector to ignition coil.
  5. Install upper intake manifold. Refer to Engine/Manifolds/MANIFOLD, Intake - Installation .
  6. Connect negative battery cable and tighten nut to 5 N.m (45 in. lbs.).
