Diagnostic Test

  1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION 
    1. Turn the ignition on.
    2. With the scan tool, record and erase DTC's
    3. Try to operate the Power Windows up and down several times.
    4. Wait 30 seconds.
    5. With the scan tool, read DTC's.

      Does the scan tool display B18BC-WINDOW CONTROL CIRCUIT HIGH?

      Yes 

      • Go to step  2

      No 

  2. TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE (TIPM)

    1. Turn the ignition off.
    2. Disconnect the Totally Integrated Power Module C7 connector.
    3. Turn the ignition on.
    4. Measure the voltage between ground and the (F981) Fused Ignition Switch Output circuit in the TIPM C7 connector.

      Is there any voltage present?

      Yes 

      No
