1 - COOLANT OUTLET CONNECTOR

2 - ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Disconnect negative battery cable.
Partially drain cooling system below level of engine coolant temperature sensor (2).
Remove upper torque strut. Refer to Engine/Engine Mounting/STRUT, Torque - Removal .
Disconnect engine coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
Remove engine coolant temperature sensor (2).
