2.2L Diesel Engine

| 2 - THERMOSTAT HOUSING |
| 3 - COOLANT HOSE |
| 4 - FUEL LINE BRACKET (2.7L ONLY) |
| 5 - UPPER RADIATOR HOSE |
- Clean all sealing surfaces.
- Position and install thermostat housing (2). Tighten bolts to 9 N.m (80 lbs. in.).NOTE: Inspect condition of all clamps and hoses, replace as necessary.
- Connect coolant hoses and by-pass hose.
- Connect coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Install generator. Refer to Electrical/Charging/GENERATOR - Installation .
- Close coolant drain.
- Install engine cover. Refer to Engine - Installation .
- Connect negative battery cable.
- Fill coolant system to proper level with appropriate coolant mixture. See SYSTEM FILLING - DIESEL ENGINE .
- Start engine and inspect for leaks.
