The fuel rail pressure sensor screws into the right fuel rail at the back of the engine. The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) uses this sensor to monitor the fuel rail pressure. The fuel rail pressure sensor is not a serviceable item, if diagnosis has led you to replace the fuel rail pressure sensor then the complete fuel rail has to be replaced.
