Before performing any on-vehicle adjustments to fuel or ignition systems, ensure engine mechanical condition is okay.

NOTE: When a 3-cylinder RPM specification is given and a tachometer with a 3-cylinder scale is not available, set instrument on 6-cylinder scale and multiply the reading by 2 for correct RPM.
