Electronic Control Unit (Ecu)

- Disconnect negative battery cable. On Charade models, remove glove compartment assembly. On all models, install Sub-Harness (SST 09842-87704-000) between ECU and engine wiring. See Fig 1 .
- Check voltage and ground circuits and compare to values listed in PIN VOLTAGE charts. See the PIN VOLTAGE CHARTS article. Repair component and/or circuit if values obtained are not as specified. If all values are as specified in chart but driveability problem exists, replace the ECU.
