Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

1982 ALL, 1987-88 ALL RWD MODELS & 1983 - 86 MODELS EXC. ARIES, CARAVELLE, DAYTONA, E CLASS, LANCER, LASER, LEBARON, LEBARON GTS, NEW YORKER, RELIANT, 400 & 600

1. Disconnect speedometer cables, vacuum hose and electrical connectors from servo.
2. Remove nuts attaching servo and throttle cable to servo bracket.
3. Pull servo away from cable to expose cable retaining clip, then remove clip attaching cable to servo diaphragm pin and remove servo.
4. To install, position throttle in full open position, then align hole in throttle cable with hole in servo pin and install retaining clip.
5. Reconnect throttle cable to servo bracket and install attaching nuts to servo.
6. Reconnect speedometer cables, vacuum hose and electrical connectors to servo.
