Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

1982-85 FRONT WHEEL DRIVE MODELS

1. Disconnect speedometer cables, vacuum hose and electrical connectors from servo, then remove servo and throttle cable to servo bracket attaching bolts.
2. Pull servo away from cable to expose retaining clip, then remove clip attaching cable to servo diaphragm pin.
3. Remove servo.
4. To install, position throttle in wide open position, then align hole in throttle cable with hole in servo pin. Insert retaining clip.
5. Connect throttle cable to servo bracket, then assemble servo and attaching screws to bracket.
6. Connect speedometer cables, vacuum hoses and electrical connectors to servo.
