Checking Fast Idle RPM

  1. If equipped, disconnect oxygen system test connector. With engine running at normal operating temperature, turn propane valve off. Open throttle and set fast idle adjustment screw on slowest speed step of fast idle cam.
  2. Fast idle speed should be within specifications as shown on emission label. If idle speed is okay, go to CHECKING THROTTLE STOP RPM. If fast idle speed is not okay, adjust to specifications.
