Checking Throttle Stop RPM

  1. With engine running at normal operating temperature, reconnect vacuum connector at EGR CVSCC valve. Reinstall PCV valve. Remove jumper wire from radiator fan and reconnect connector.
  2. Remove power feed wire to SIS or solenoid kicker from carburetor 6-wire connector. Tachometer should read 600 RPM or less. If engine speed is okay, test is complete. If speed is greater than 600 RPM, adjust to specifications.
