Removal & Installation

  1. Remove battery. Disconnect 10-wire and 14-wire connectors from computer. Disconnect air duct and vacuum hose from vacuum transducer.
    NOTE: DO NOT  remove grease from harness connectors or connector cavities in computer. Grease is used to prevent moisture from corroding terminals. If not at least 1/2" of grease on bottom of computer connector cavities, apply liberal amount of multi-purpose grease (Mopar No. 2932524) over entire end of connector plug before reinstallation.
  2. Remove 3 mounting screws holding computer to fender well. Remove computer. To install, reverse removal procedure.
NOTE: Computer is not serviceable. DO NOT  attempt disassembly for any reason. If vacuum transducer is defective, replace entire computer.
