Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

The TPS is mounted on the throttle body and senses the angle of the throttle body valve (butterfly). This information is used by the SMEC in determining the proper air/fuel mixture during varying driving conditions such as acceleration, deceleration, idle and wide open throttle.
