CCS5 - Checking Cruise Control System Set Function

  1. Connect diagnostic readout box to engine harness connector. Put system in Sensor Test Mode 09. Move cruise control on/off switch to "ON" position. Connect jumper wire between cavities No. 2 and 9 of logic module Black connector (Blue on turbo). If readout box display is "10", ensure terminal in connector cavity No. 9 is not damaged, causing a poor connection. If terminal is okay, replace logic module.

  2. If readout box display is "00", connect jumper wire between cruise control switch harness connector Dark Blue/White and Brown/Red wires. DO NOT  disconnect cruise control switch connector. If readout box display is "00", replace cruise control switch. If readout box display is "10", repair Brown/Red wire for an open circuit to cavity No. 9 of logic module Black connector (Blue on turbo).
