Warm DRIVEABILITY Test 2 - Charge Temperature Switch Circuit Check

  1. Disconnect both connectors from the computer. Connect an ohmmeter between 10-way connector cavity "9" and 12-way connector cavity "10". Ohmmeter reading should be 176-3900 ohms. If resistance is okay, proceed to WARM DRIVEABILITY TEST 3  . If resistance is not within specifications, disconnect charge temperature sensor connector.

  2. Connect an ohmmeter between charge temperature switch terminals. Ohmmeter reading should be 176-3900 ohms. If resistance is okay, repair wiring between computer and sensor for an open/short circuit. If resistance is not within specifications, replace charge temperature switch.
