Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable and 6-way throttle body connector. Remove 2 screws mounting throttle position sensor to throttle body. Unclip wiring clip from convoluted tube and remove mounting bracket. Lift throttle position sensor off throttle shaft and remove "O" ring.
  2. Pull 3 TPS wires from tubing. Look inside 6-way throttle body connector and lift locking tab with small screwdriver for each TPS wire blade terminal. Remove each TPS wire blade terminal. Remove each blade from connector. To install, reverse removal procedure. Use new "O" ring.
