Removal & Installation

  1. Remove battery. Disconnect 10-way and 14-way connectors from computer. Disconnect air duct and vacuum hose from vacuum transducer.
    NOTE: DO NOT  remove grease from harness connectors or connector cavities in computer. Grease is used to prevent moisture from corroding terminals. If there is not at least l/8" of grease on bottom of computer connector cavities, apply a liberal amount of Mopar Multipurpose Grease (Part No. 2932524 ) over entire end of connector plug before reinstallation.
  2. Remove 3 mounting screws holding computer to fender well. Remove computer. To install, reverse removal procedure.
NOTE: Computer is not serviceable. DO NOT  attempt disassembly for any reason. If vacuum transducer is defective, replace entire computer.
