Sensor Test Mode

The sensor test mode allows the output of 7 sensors and the state of 3 switches to be displayed on the tester while the engine is not running. This provides a means by which the entire circuit for each individual sensor and switch can be checked, including the wiring and SMEC circuitry.

To obtain test mode:

1. Put system into diagnostic test mode and wait for code 55 to appear on display screen.
2. Press ATM button to activate display. Hold ATM button down until the desired test code appears.
3. Slide switch to "Hold" position to display the corresponding sensor output level.
