Code 70

Entering "70" on tester displays minimum airflow idle speed sensor reading. Before entering this code, ensure engine is at operating temperature. Disconnect coolant temperature sensor and set basic timing to 12 degrees BTDC.

Turn engine off. Reconnect coolant temperature sensor. Disconnect PCV hose from intake manifold fitting. Attach a .125" (3.2 mm) orifice into fitting. Start engine and allow to idle for at least one minute. Entering this code will cause the AIS motor to fully close and idle spark advance to become fixed.
