Fuel Injector Rail Assembly: Installation

  1. Seat injectors in cups (if removed) and install lock rings. Ensure injector holes are clean. Lube injector "O" rings with drop of oil. Install injector assemblies in sockets. Install 2 attaching bolts and ground straps. Tighten bolts to pull fuel rail into place evenly with each injector in its own hole.
  2. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. All wiring, hoses and ground straps must be in original positions. Use ATM tester or start vehicle to check for fuel leaks.
