TEST 5C - Diagnosing Turn Signal Input To Body Controller For Chime Function

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  1. Disconnect body controller Blue connector. Body controller is located under left side of instrument panel. Check connector, and clean or repair connector as necessary. Turn left turn signal on.
  2. Put DRB-II in voltmeter mode. Probe terminal No. 15 (Light Green wire) of body controller Blue connector. If voltage pulsates between zero and more than 10 volts, replace body controller. Perform VERIFICATION TEST - VERIFICATION OF REPAIRS . If voltage does not pulsate between zero and more than 10 volts, repair open Light Green wire. Perform VERIFICATION TEST - VERIFICATION OF REPAIRS .
