TEST 5D - Diagnosing Turn Signal Input To Body Controller For Chime Function

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For appropriate wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS .

Disconnect body controller Natural connector. Body controller is located under left side of instrument panel. Check connector, and clean or repair connector as necessary. Turn right turn signal on.
Place DRB-II in voltmeter mode. Probe terminal No. 7 (Tan wire) of body controller Natural connector. If voltage pulsates between zero and more than 10 volts, replace body controller. Perform VERIFICATION TEST - VERIFICATION OF REPAIRS . If voltage does not pulsate between zero and more than 10 volts, repair open Tan wire. Perform VERIFICATION TEST - VERIFICATION OF REPAIRS .
