Window Switch Voltage Test
NOTE:
The following wiring test sequence determines whether or not voltage is continuous through body harness to switch.
- Remove window switch. See WINDOW SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Carefully separate multiple terminal block on wiring harness from window switch body.
- Using a test light, connect one lead to Black wire terminal. Touch other test light to Tan wire terminal.
- If test light comes on, wiring circuit between battery and switch is okay. If light does not come on, check 30-amp circuit breaker or check for a broken feed or ground wire. Repair and replace as necessary.
