WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1992 Dodge Dynasty, 1992 Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue, 1992 Chrysler New Yorker, and 1992 Chrysler Imperial. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE:
Before proceeding with diagnosis, certain precautions must be followed. See PRETEST INSPECTION under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
Diagnostic test procedures are designed to detect system faults as quickly as possible. Body fault codes are accessed through CCD bus diagnostic connector. See Figure. DRB-II tester is used to access information from CCD bus diagnostic connector.
DRB-II tester, jumper wires and volt/ohmmeter will be needed for testing. Proceed to TEST 1A: IDENTIFYING VEHICLE EQUIPMENT & SYSTEM PROBLEMS. Ensure self-diagnostic tests apply to vehicle being tested. When system problem is identified according to customer's complaint, perform diagnostic test indicated.
