Test 10B - Repairing Electro/Mech INSTMT Cluster Sense CKTS

NOTE: For connector terminal identification, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  in this article. For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  in this article.
CAUTION: Always turn ignition off prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
  1. Using DRB, stop actuation test. Turn ignition off. Disconnect Electro/Mechanical Instrument Cluster (MIC) connector. Check connector, and clean or repair connector as necessary. Perform TEST VER-1B  . If connector is okay, go to next step.

If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open Orange/Dark Blue wire. Perform TEST VER-1B. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  3. Check resistance of MIC ID line No. 2 sense circuit (Light Blue wire) between MIC connector terminal No. 5 and Natural BCM connector terminal No. 12. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open Light Blue wire. Perform TEST VER-1B. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace BCM. Perform TEST VER-1B.
