Test SC-1B - Checking Speed Control Operation

- Turn ignition off. Disconnect brake switch 6-pin connector. Check connector for damaged, pushed out or miswired terminals. Repair as necessary. Perform VERIFICATION TEST SC-VER . If connector is okay, turn ignition on. Press speed control switch on.
- With DRB in voltmeter mode, probe brake switch connector terminal No. 3, speed control on/off switch sense circuit (Yellow/Red wire). If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open in Yellow/Red wire. Perform VERIFICATION TEST SC-VER .
- If voltage is greater than 10 volts, turn ignition off. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance of brake switch connector terminal No. 4, speed control brake switch output circuit (Dark Blue/Red wire). If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open in Dark Blue/Red wire. Perform VERIFICATION TEST SC-VER . If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace brake switch. Perform VERIFICATION TEST SC-VER .
